Jesse McDaniel
My back and forth early life between Tokyo and Seattle developed a keen sense of observation. Paired with a natural inclination towards the arts, I always felt just outside the walls of wherever I found myself. I was and am a character in a movie I didn’t write, and I have found, through faith, that this peculiar place outside of everything is the place I am to inhabit. I enjoy podcasts on the topic of culture, listening to musical soundtracks especially, and experimenting in my garden, the kitchen, or around the house with general projects. Above all, I enjoy the presence of my family, reading to my daughters books each night of incredible adventures, and writing each morning to better understand myself- a task I have kept for over twenty years.
